Item Shipping and Storage
Inbound
We can accept deliveries from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Note: Deliveries will be closed on Friday, 7/3 for the Fourth of July holiday.

Outbound
After tear-down on Friday at 1:00 p.m., items may be dropped off at the UC Merced Shipping and Receiving Dock for outbound shipment. It is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Please ensure all packages have pre-paid FedEx/UPS shipping labels attached and are dropped off before 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 10, as all materials must be cleared from campus that day.
Welcome Reception Table | Platinum and Gold Sponsors Only
While all sponsors are invited to the Welcome Reception on the UC Merced campus to kick-off UC Tech, only our Platinum and Gold sponsors will have a table to connect with attendees.
The Welcome Reception, located at the Social Justice Plaza on campus, will happen on Wednesday, July 8, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Set-Up Time: Set-up will begin at 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
- Shipped Items Pick-Up Location: You can pick up your shipped items from the COB1 (Classroom and Office Building) room 127 and a volunteer will be there to give you access to the room.
- Exhibit Space: This is an outdoor venue. Platinum and Gold sponsors will have one table each.
- Tear-Down Time: Tear-down can begin at 8 p.m. If you'd like to transport your tabling items from the Welcome Reception to the Vendor Fair location, the Planning Committee can provide a rolling utility cart. Simply notify a volunteer during the Welcome Reception of your needs.
Vendor Fair | Platinum through Bronze Sponsors Only
The Vendor Fair, located at Joseph E. Gallo Recreation & Wellness Center's Hostetler Court Gymnasium on campus, will be open all day on Thursday and Friday at the following times:
- July 9, Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- July 10, Friday from 9:30 to 12:30 p.m.
Desserts, snacks, and soft beverages will be located at Vendor Fair for foot traffic.
Tabling Logistics
Set-Up
Review information below about preparing your table for the Vendor Fair. Details about your table location within the space will be provided closer to the conference date.
- Set-Up Time: Set-up will be available on Wednesday all-day until 6 p.m. and Thursday morning. Set-up must be complete by 8:30 a.m. on Thursday to be ready for campus Fire Marshal inspection.
- Shipped Items Pick-Up Location:
- Silver through Bronze sponsors: You can pick up your shipped items from the Hostetler Court Gymnasium.
- Platinum through Gold sponsors: You can pick up your shipped items from COB1 (Classroom and Building) room 127 on Wednesday. On Thursday morning, you can pick up your shipped items from the Hostetler Court Gymnasium.
- Exhibit Space: Each table is 6 feet long and will be provided for you. The number of tables you have are based on your sponsorship tier level: Platinum (4), Gold (3), Silver (2), and Bronze (1). Power outlets will not be available.
- Decorative Fabrics: Please bring your own tablecloths. You may also bring a pop-up banner to go behind your table, as long as it doesn't impede the path of egress and isn't hung on walls.
- Flame Resistance Compliance: All decorative fabrics will need to either have the fabric itself be tagged with compliance for flame resistance OR you will need to bring documentation from their manufacturer that specifically states those items have flame resistance. See the full Flame Resistance Compliance policy below.
Tear-Down
Vendor Fair tear-down can begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. All items must be cleared from campus on that Friday, July 10. Please plan accordingly.
Flame Resistance Compliance Policy
All tent fabrics, and all interior decorative fabrics or materials shall be flame resistant in accordance with appropriate standards set forth in California Code of Regulations. Title 19, Division 1, Chapter 8. Tent tops and sidewalls shall be made either from fabric which has been flame resistant treated with an approved exterior chemical process by an approved application concern, or from inherently flame-resistant fabric approved and list by the State Fire Marshal. (b) Sawdust, shavings, or combustible materials used on the floor or ground shall be made flame resistant or when approved by the enforcing authority shall be kept adequately damp when tent is occupied. (c) (Repealed) (d) Certificates of Flame Resistance or other documentation affirming the requirements of subsection (a) of this section shall be made available upon request of the enforcement authority.
